Certified Food Safety Center Founded

PLAINVIEW, N.Y.Certified Laboratories Inc., a private independent laboratory providing services to the food industry, announced the acquisition of Food Safety and Technology, and the founding of the Certified Food Safety Center.

The Centers core focus will be food safety projects, including thermal and non-thermal validations services, process authority work, challenge studies and consulting.  

The center. Located in Newman, Calif., will remain under the direction of Certified Laboratories Chief Technical Officer, Rick Falkenberg, Ph.D.

Certified Laboratories Managing Director, Martin Mitchell stated We are extremely excited having Dr. Rick Falkenberg join our team as well as the opportunities for us to expand our services to the food industry.
