DELFT, The Netherlands--DSM introduced vegetarianbeta-carotene beadlets, containing 7.5 percent beta-carotene. CaroCaretablet-grade beadlets are designed for the production of single beta-carotene,multivitamin, antioxidant and mixed carotenoid tablets or two-piece hard shellcapsules. They are also free of genetically modified (GM) ingredients and arekosher. The beadlets match the processing profile and performance of similargelatin-based beadlets, according to DSM (www.dsm-foodspecialties.com).
