Ecuadorian Updates Kosher Offerings

BELLEVILLE, N.J.Ecuadorian Rainforest, LLC has released the 2012 update of its kosher product offerings, which includes 141 kosher items such as Artichoke, Bilberry, Camu Camu, Cascara Sagrada, Chasteberry, Gentian Root, Green Bell Pepper, Mango, Nettle Leaf, Quebracho, and Tamarind. The company said it complies with Star-K Kosher Certification, a non-profit agency representing the kosher consumer in promoting Kashrus through education, research and supervision. According to Star-K, the kosher symbol on a label represents more than a product that conforms to religious standards; it is a mark of quality and an added safeguard. These Star-K products can be verified by the UKD number, an identification number assigned for tracking purposes, via Ecuadorian's website.
