FDA Has No Objection to PureCircle Reb D Stevia Sweetener

CHICAGOPureCircle announced the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has issued a No Objection" letter for the use of PureCircles Rebaudioside D (Reb D) as a general purpose sweetener for foods and beverages in the United States. PureCircle research has identified high purity Reb D as having one of the best sweetness profiles of any steviol glycoside from the stevia leaf.

The GRAS confirmation of PureCircles Reb D arrives on the heels of the companys GRAS submission for Rebaudioside X (Reb X,) and builds on the companys track record for bringing the latest stevia innovation to the market. With GRAS affirmation, PureCircle is prepared for immediate commercialization of Reb D.
