FDA, NAFFS Among SupplySide East Education Program Additions

PHOENIXVirgo Publishing announced several new additions to the three-day Education Program at SupplySide East, April 26 to 28 at the Meadowlands Exposition Center in Secaucus, NJ. The program features dedicated tracks for food and beverage, cosmeceutical and nutrition topics. The two nutrition tracks are sponsored by EPAX AS.

Additions include:

·         Carl Reynolds, senior advisor for CFSAN at FDA, will address the industry for the first time in his new role in the Featured Speaker presentation

·         NAFFS members Cathianne Leonardi, a flavorist for Allen Flavors Inc.; Patrick McNamara, Esq., partner at Scarinci Hollenbeck; and Scott Nadison, flavor business unit director at Flavor & Fragrance Specialties Inc. will offer a flavors update

·         Pina LoGiudice, N.D., co-director of InnerSource Natural Health and Acupuncture PC, will discuss the latest ingredient science for the immune health category

·         David Williams from Living Naturally LLC to discuss successful strategies to reach retailers and consumers simultaneously

Speakers from Hersheys, Product Dynamics, Euromonitor, The Hartman Group, American Botanical Council, Council for Responsible Nutrition, HealthFocus International, The Natural Marketing Institute, and many other leading organizations will also speak in the three-day education program.
