Food-Safety: Dole Recalls Bagged Salad in 10 States

WASHINGTONDole Fresh Vegetables is recalling 12-ounce bags of Dole American Blend salad in 10 states because they may be contaminated with Listeria, the U.S. Food and Drug Administration announced Oct. 17.

The recall involves in 12-ounce bags of Dole American Blend salad coded A275208A or B, with use-by date of Oct. 17 and UPC 7143000933. The salads were distributed in Illinois, Indiana, Maine, Missouri, New Jersey, New York, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Tennessee and Wisconsin. No illnesses have been reported, and no other American Blend salads are involved in the recall.
