In addition to addressing procedures to adhere to qualifications for FS 22000 certification, the company said it enhanced its HACCP program, establishing: a detailed plan to identify food safety hazards with control measures to reduce or eliminate them, critical limits, monitoring procedures, corrections, responsibilities and records.  Additionally, enhancements were made to the companys existing Quality Manual and Food Safety Management System Processes, interactive communication and verification activities.  Fortitech said all of these combined procedures will drive cost efficiency in the supply chain and reduce the duplication of audits.
