Frozen Asian Entrees Recalled Over Undercooked Chicken

WASHINGTONH-E-B is recalling 19 types of frozen Asian meals because they may contain undercooked chicken, which has the potential to be contaminated with Salmonella, the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) announced May 2.

The recall involves 19 ready-to-eat entrées and meals packaged in 4-, 8-, 12- and 24-ounce black plastic containers with a clear lid, single-serve sizes and to-go containers. The frozen meals were sold at 40 stores in Texas.

The recalled meals include General Joes Chicken Entree, Lemon Chicken Entree, Lemon Grass Chicken Entree, Sesame Chicken Entree, Sweet Sour Chicken Entree, HE Bowl General Joes Chicken,  HE Bowl Lemon Chicken, HE Bowl Lemon Grass Chicken, HE Bowl Sweet Sour Chicken, General Joes Chicken-HEX, Sesame Chicken-Retail Pack, Lemon Chicken-Retail Pack, Lemon Grass Chicken-Retail Pack and General Joes Chicken-FS Cold.
