News Release

Fruit d'Or, one of the largest nutraceutical supplier of organic cranberries and wild blueberries, is launching two clean, field-to-table, low-bush whole food wild blueberry powders at SupplySide West.

Both whole-food wild blueberry powders—Blue Naturelle Organic Wild Blueberry Powder and Blue d’Or Conventional Wild Blueberry Powder—are non-GMO, vegan, gluten-free, kosher and contain no additives, excipients or carriers. The company’s proprietary process preserves the color, flavor and aroma of the wild blueberry powders. The ingredient is ideal for dietary supplements, sports nutrition or to blend with other food ingredients like rice, hemp and pea. A large body of scientific research about wild blueberries relates to health benefits for adults and children, and wild blueberries are known to be a super antioxidant, and are associated with eye health, oral health, and enhanced cognitive performance.

Fruit d’Or is also launching the industry’s first organic cranberry juice powder formulated with organic acacia gum. Buyers looking for new alternatives to maltodextrin (MGOH) will be happy to know that organic acacia gum, a non-GMO fiber, works well with cranberry because it is not spray-dried, which can damage nutrients. Fruit d’Or’s proprietary low-temperature drying process results in higher levels of vitamin C, and a flavor-enhanced powder rich in color with a great taste, flowability and dispersion, which is ideal for beverage, supplements or as a stand-alone food.
