DES MOINES, Iowa Kemin has reported its Slendesta® potato extract will be used in new and reformulated products in the Fullbar brand line of weight management products, including bars, ready-to-drink shakes, chewable gummies, gum and supplement capsules.  The Fullbar line, which was created by bariatric surgeon Dr. Michael Snyder and launched nationawide in December 2011, has new packaging that prominently features the Slendesta trademark. Slendesta is an all-natural, specialized potato protein designed to help people control hunger naturally and feel full longer. Slendesta is GRAS 9generally recognized as safe) for foods and beverages, is a non-Novel Food in Europe and is backed by human clinical trials showing efficacy in promoting satiety, managing hunger and helping people lose weight.

We are very pleased that an innovative company like Fullbar, which is working to meet consumer demand for products containing safe and natural ingredients, is adding Slendesta to its product line, said Linda Fullmer, senior vice president of the human nutrition and health division, Kemin.  Making healthy choices isnt always easy as busy schedules leave little time and consideration for weight management. Slendesta helps dieters stay naturally in control of their hunger, allowing them to safely work toward their weight loss goals.
