MOMENCE, Ill.elemin senonian trace minerals, VDF FutureCeuticals' proprietary complex of more than 70 plant-based trace minerals, has earned self-affirmed GRAS (generally recognized as safe) status for use in food and beverages after a comprehensive review by an independent panel of experts.

The expert panel, organized by James Heimbach, president of JHeimbach LLC and former head of FDAs consumer research and education staff, conducted a safety evaluation of elemin, its toxicology and mineral profile, and existing published research, and concluded that elemin is safe for use in beverages and energy and nutritional bars, in addition to dietary supplements.

elemin Senonian Trace Minerals is cold-water extracted from a protected ancient peat (plant) deposit laid down during the Cretaceous period nearly 70 million years ago.  Subsequently concentrated and dried by FutureCeuticals via a proprietary process, elemin Senonian Trace Minerals contains more than 70 plant-based, small particle minerals in a water-soluble fine white powder.

elemin is manufactured in carefully monitored 21 CFR, cGMP (current good manufacturing practice) and HAACP food compliant facilities and is certified kosher by the Orthodox Union.

Last year, FutureCeuticals self-affirmed the GRAS status of its CoffeeBerry® products, including CoffeeBerry Whole Fruit Powder, Juice Concentrate Powder and Forte Soluble Concentrate.
