Glucosamine Salts Self-Affirmed GRAS

MISSOULA, Mont.TSI Health Sciences announced its PUREFLEX® glucosamine salts were self-affirmed GRAS (generally recognized as safe) for use in a range of conventional foods and beverages.  An independent scientific expert panel conducted the analysis on PUREFLEX Glucosamine Hydrochloride, PUREFLEX Glucosamine Sulfate Sodium and PUREFLEX Glucosamine Sulfate Potassium, and determined the ingredients meet safety and production standards for use in foods and beverages.
