OTTAWAThe Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) announced that Heinz Canada is recalling Heinz Mixed Cereal for babies because it may contain elevated levels of the carcinogen Ochratoxin A (OTA).

The recall involves Heinz Mixed Cereal, a Baby Cereal, Stage 2, From 6 Months that bear the UPC code 0 57000 02516 8 and best-buy dates of Dec. 26, 2010 and Dec. 29, 2010. The product was distributed nationally.
