HORN Receives Distributor of the Year Award

HORN, a North American distributor of specialty ingredients, chemicals and raw materials, was awarded Cabot Corporations' 2013 North American Distributor Performance award, which recognizes Cabot's top distributor throughout the United States and Canada.

HORN represents Cabot in the Western United States, across all of its business units—coatings and building materials, advanced materials, composites and fabrications materials, foodtech, care elements and animal wellness and nutraceuticals.

“When we join forces with our principal suppliers, our goal is to align with their corporate vision and function as a true extension of their team," said Parry Foskett, vice president, HORN Advanced Materials and HORN Composites and Fabrication Materials. “Being recognized for our outstanding performance is an excellent measurement of this goal. This award would not be possible without a company-wide effort across all departments and business units at HORN, and the support of Hector and the Cabot organization. We are honored and humbled to receive this award and will continue to strive for excellence as we serve our valued partners."

The award was presented to HORN by Hector A. Rodriguez, Cabot's North America distributor manager, and Imtiaz Kathawalla, vice president, Cabot Performance Group-Americas, at the HORN headquarters in La Mirada, CA on March 18. This is the first Distributor of the Year award for HORN, which began to represent Cabot in 2002.
