Ians Recalls Frozen Gluten-Free Products Over Listeria

WASHINGTONLawrence, Mass.-based Ians is recalling two of its gluten-free products because they may be contaminated with Listeria monocytogenes, the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) announced Jan. 24.

The recall involves 8-ounce boxes of Ians Wheat Free, Gluten Free Mac and No Cheese with a use-by date of Aug. 26, 2011, and UPC code 7-49512-43670-8; and 8-ounce boxes of Ians Wheat Free, Gluten Free French Bread Pizza with a use-by date of Aug. 28, 2011, and UPC code 7-49512-91572-2.The recalled products were distributed to retailers nationwide and sold in the frozen foods section of the supermarket.
