Illes Seasonings and Flavors Honored for Technology, Food Safety

CARROLLTON, TexasIlles Seasonings and Flavors, a manufacturer of liquid and dry spice blends, flavors and sauces was awarded two top honors for technology improvements, efficiency and safety. The company was selected as a winner of the seventh annual Progressive Manufacturing 100 Awards (PM100 Awards), presented by Manufacturing Enterprise Communications, Inc. for innovative technology improvements. The company also received the 2010 Silliker Platinum Award for GMP/Food Safety. 

The PM100 Awards honor manufacturing companies that have transformed themselves through the use of information technology. The program recognizes technology improvement projects that deliver competitive advantage and demonstrate a manufacturing company's creativity and inventiveness, a determined willingness to take risks, and an enduring resilience to continually improve every aspect of their business."

The Platinum Award from Silliker, Inc., recognizes companies that receive the highest scores on Silliker GMP/Food Safety System and Distribution Center audits. Illes Dallas liquid processing plant won with a near-perfect audit score of 99.7 percent.
