GENEVAIngredia Nutritional launched a series of proteins and hydrolysates to offer food manufacturers new ways to incorporate milk derivative proteins into sports, diet, infant and clinical nutrition products. With products composed of 85-percent or more protein on dry matter, the Nutritional Solutions range offers a high quality set of native proteins from fresh milk through a non-denaturing process.
The Nutritional Solutions range of protein enables a higher level of fluidity within high-protein beverages. The companys technology allows food manufacturers to incorporate higher levels of protein within a nutritional drink resulting in a welcomed, lighter texture and pleasant mouthfeel. In addition, Ingredia Nutritional introduced protein hydrolysates with low bitterness, which lessens the time spent masking bitter tastes with increased quantities of hydrolysates. One possible market destination is infant nutrition, as hydrolysates are more easily digested than non-hydrolysed proteins, are hypoallergenic and enable better absorption of amino acids.
