LOS ANGELESKSM-66 Ashwagandha received non-GMO verification from the Non-GMO Project, confirming it contains no genetically engineered food material.

Effective immediately, KSM-66 is allowed to bear the Non- GMO Project Verified seal. This makes KSM-66 Ashwagandha the first, and currently the only ashwagandha ingredient to be non-GMO verified.

KSM-66 Ashwagandha, made by Ixoreal Biomed, was also the first ashwagandha branded ingredient to be certified 100-percent organic by USDA.

“The Non-GMO Project Verification and the organic certification emphasize that KSM-66 is produced without synthetic or genetically engineered components, and that KSM-66 comes from a pure and natural process," said Kartikeya Baldwa, director at Ixoreal.

Ixoreal is entirely vertically integrated, with its own farms, manufacturing and distribution.

In March, Ixoreal Biomed was awarded the Frost & Sullivan 2014 Product Innovation in Botanicals Award for its KSM-66 ashwagandha.
