Listeria Continues to Plague Maple Leaf Foods

TORONTOThe Associated Press is reporting that the Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) launched an inspection of Cappola Food, Inc., after listeria bacterium was detected in routine testing of the deli meat products. Cappola Food is a subsidiary of Maple Leaf Foods.

No illnesses have been reported, and no warnings or recalls have been issued.
