Lubrizol Corporation~ Glucamate and Sulfochem

CLEVELANDThe Lubrizol Corporation will introduce its latest products, Glucamate CCO Thickener and Sulfochem ES-70DXS Surfactant, at the California SCC Suppliers' Day Tradeshow on September 24 to 25 in Long Beach, CA.

Glucamate CCO Thickener contains methyl glucose caprate, caprylate, oleate and 1,3 propanediol. It is an ideal solution for developing formulations with high renewable carbon content greater than 93 percent. Glucamate is derived from corn and vegetal sources. The naturally derived thickener can be formulated for clear cleansing products with a honey-like flow with mild skin sensory.

Sulfochem ES-70DXS Surfactant contains sodium laureth-2 sulfate and is the first of a new line of highly concentrated, low 1,4-dioxane surfactants. The new surfactant is highly pourable, has very low odor and color, and is easy to use with extremely low levels of residual 1,4-dioxane.
