Matsun Nutrition Adds Yacon Root Syrup

MURRIETA, Calif.Matsun Nutrition is adding yacon root syrup to its list of formulations and will offer the weight loss product for contract manufacturing and private labeling.

Yacon root syrup comes from the perennial yacon (Smallanthus sonchifolius) plant that grows in Peru. Yacon root syrup provides one of the highest concentrations of fructooligosaccharides found in nature, allowing it to be an alternative to standard sugar. The yacon root syrup offered by Matsun Nutrition is a non-genetically modified organism (GMO) and organic.

According to Matsun Nutrition, the yacon root syrup has recently become popular for its weight loss benefits.
