McCormick & Co. Recalls Fry Batter Over Undeclared Allergen

SPARKS, Md.McCormick & Company Inc. is recalling packages of Golden Dipt® Fry Easy All-Purpose Batter because they may contain the undeclared allergen, egg.

The recall involves 10-ounce packages of Golden Dipt® All-Purpose Batter with the UPC code 4123470111 and best by" date of NOV 17 11AH that were distributed to grocery stores in the southeastern United States beginning on Jan. 22, 2010.

McCormick & Company initiated the recall after a packaging error resulted in a pouch of funnel cake batter (which contains an egg ingredient) being packaged in the Golden Dipt® Fry Easy All-Purpose Batter package.
