MegaFood's Lab Is ISO Certified

DERRY, N.H.MegaFood announced its in-house testing and research facility received ISO 9001:2008 certification. The certification indicates quality management practices are adhered to and a systematic approach is taken to quality testing to ensure consistency in product production.

Michel Ben-Bemehemie, director of quality and analytical science, led the lab in achieving this certification. Ben-Bemehemie works to ensure MegaFood achieves the highest level of accuracy in its testing and also focuses on enhancing their regulation and compliance directives. MegaFood employs five analytical chemists in its lab, which is equipped with state-of-the-art analytical equipment including high-performance liquid chromatography (HPLC), mass spectrometer and inductively coupled plasma (ICP). MegaFood routinely performs tests to validate nutrient/botanical identification and potency, as well as validating the finished products are free of gluten, dairy and soy.
