AVIGNON, FranceNaturexs New Jersey industrial site received British Retail Consortium (BRC) certification, showing the facility complies with the safety and quality standards used by the Bureau Veritas certification body. Naturexs plants in Birmingham, England; Avignon, France; Bischofszell, Switzerland; and Burgdorf, Switzerland have previously earned the certification.

Gaining this grade-A BRC certification rewards the continuous and daily efforts of our teams, but it also recognizes Naturex guarantee to supply our clients with the highest level of quality and safety for our ingredients" says Nicolas Souchon, global quality assurance coordinator.

The BRC Global Standards are global product safety and quality certification program used by suppliers in more than 100 countries. A growing number of European and North American retailers and major manufacturers require this independent certification from their suppliers.

Naturex manufactures natural specialty ingredients for the food and beverage, nutrition and health and personal care industries. Naturex has 11 production units located in Europe (France, Italy, Spain, Switzerland and England), the United States (New Jersey and California), Brazil, Australia and Morocco.

In May 2011, Naturex reported its sales grew by 17.5 percent in constant currencies and constant scope for the first quarter of financial year 2011.
