NSF Acquires Canadian Registration Firm

ANN ARBOR, Mich.NSFInternational Strategic Registrations (www.nsf.org) acquired the operations ofDeloitte & Touche Quality Registrar; financial details were not disclosed.All Deloitte & Touche staff will become NSF employees and offer qualityregistration services from their existing offices in Winnipeg, Kitchener andMontreal.

We plan to make this transition seamless for all clients,who will be served by the same professionals, working from the same offices andwith expanded capabilities, said Christian Lupo, general manager of NSF-ISR.We are able to do that because NSF-ISR has built a positive and productiveworking relationship with Deloitte & Touche over the past two years.We knowtheir staff members are leaders in their field, and we are confident they willcontinue to provide unsurpassed service and technical excellence to clients.

Clients will now have the opportunity to register to newstandards for ISO/TS 16949, RC14001, RCMS, TL 9000, ISO 13485, OHSAS 18001 andthe Sustainable Forestry Initiative. NSF-ISR can provide services worldwideusing its international network of auditors through offices in Brazil, Belgium,South Korea and Taiwan.
