Olive Lifesciences Certified Organic by NOP, NPOP

BANGALORE, IndiaOlive Lifesciences received organic certification in compliance with the U.S. National Organic Program (NOP) and National Program for Organic Production (NPOP) for processing of herbs and herbal extracts. NPOP is considered equivalent to Council Regulation (EC) No.834/2007 and Swiss Organic Farming Ordinance for plant products originating in India.

Olive Lifesciences will be starting off with organic herbs including turmeric, marigold and sesame. The company will continue to handle nonorganic standardized herbal extracts and specialty ingredients.

In May, Olive Livesciences increased contract farming of its Coleus forskohlii crop in Southern India.
