Parents File Suit Against Sanlu Group

BEIJING—Parents of a baby allegedly sickened by melamine-laced formula are suing dairy producer Sanlu Group Co., CNN reported.
According to the news source, one the sickened child’s parents is seeking $22,000 for medical, travel and other expenses incurred after the child developed kidney stones.
Ji Cheng, the lawyer handling the lawsuit, told CNN he would not know until next week if the court would accept the case.
