Petit Jean Farm Recalls Meat, Poultry Products

WASHINGTONPetit Jean Farm, based in Morrilton, Ark., is recalling meat and poultry products that were produced without the benefit of federal inspection, USDAs Food Safety and Inspection Service (FSIS) announced Feb. 24.

The recall involves assorted weights and packages of Meadow Lamb brand lamb chops, lamb steaks, lamb roasts, lamb tips, lamb shanks and ground lamb; Meadow Lamb brand beef steaks, beef roasts, beef tenderloin fillets, beef tips and ground beef; Petit Jean Farm brand pork chops, ham and pork steaks, pork roasts, pork ribs, freshside bacon, smoked bacon, ground pork, pork sausage and whole chickens.

The affected products were distributed to retailers and restaurants in Arkansas.
