Petition Asks FDA To Regulate Energy Drinks

NEW YORK—A letter has been sent to the Food and Drug Administration by a hundred scientist and physicians asking the agency to more closely monitor energy drinks, USA Today reported. According to USA Today, the letter “asked the FDA to require the drinks' caffeine content be listed on the can, to set a limit on the amount of stimulant allowed in the drinks and to require warning labels.”
