Pistachio Recall Widens
April 2, 2009
WASHINGTON—In light of the recent peanut-Salmonella outbreak that rocked the nation, the U.S. Food and Drug Administration took quick action March 31 and issued a warning to consumers to avoid eating pistachio products due to a risk of Salmonella contamination.
