RFI Chlorella, Spirulina Fair for Life

BLAUVELT, N.Y. RFI Ingredients announced it received Fair for Life Social & Fair Trade Certification from the Institute for Marketecology (IMO) as a producer and processor of spirulina and chlorella products. Fair For Life Fair Trade certification is an independent verification of social and environmental marketing claims, and was launched by the Swiss Bio-Foundation in cooperation with IMO in 2006. During certification, operators are rated on their performance in areas such as trade relations, health and safety, equal treatment and opportunity, social benefits and environmental issues.
