Robert Gibbs Speaks at CRNs Conference

WASHINGTONFormer White House Press Secretary Robert Gibbs will provide his thoughts on the current political environment and share his perspective on the inner workings of the Obama Administration as a featured speaker at The Conference, The Council for Responsible Nutritions (CRN) annual symposium for the dietary supplement industry. The Conference takes place Oct. 19 to 22 at the Terranea Resort in Rancho Palos Verdes, CA. Gibbs will also discuss recent changes to health care laws and other important issues he worked on throughout his tenure in the White House.

Gibbs was the 28th White House Press Secretary, working for President Barack Obama. He was the communications director for then-U.S. Senator Obama and Obama's 2008 presidential campaign.  Prior to joining Senator Obamas team, Gibbs was press secretary of John Kerry's 2004 presidential campaign and has previously specialized in Senate campaigns, having served as communications director for the Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee and for four individual Senate campaigns, including those of Obama in 2004 and Fritz Hollings in 1998. Gibbs was also the press secretary of Representative Bob Etheridge.

Gibbs left his White House position in February of 2011 and is currently working as a senior strategist to the Obama/Biden 2012 re-election campaign.

In addition to Gibbs, The Conference agenda will feature FDAs Daniel Fabricant, Ph.D., industry leaders, economic and market research experts, scientists and political experts, including fellow former White House staffer Karl Rove.
