ATLANTARockHard Laboratories issued a statement that it is conducting a national voluntary recall of certain lots of its RockHard Weekend and Pandora dietary supplements, after its independent testing found the products contained an analogue of sildenafil, a pharmaceutical drug used to treat erectile dysfunction (ED). The affected lots of RockHard Weekend are lots 100159 and 100260 sold as blister packs, three-count bottles and eight-count bottles; and lot 100378 of Pandora, sold in blister packs.

The use of the adulterated products may pose a health concern to consumers, as the drug analogue can interact with nitrates found in other pharmaceuticals and lower blood pressure to dangerous levels. RockHard Laboratories is advising consumers to return the unused product to the company for a full refund; details are available by calling (877) 576-9363. Consumers and health care providers can also report any adverse reactions to the products to FDAs MedWatch Adverse Event Reporting program online. The recall is being conducted with FDAs knowledge.

The company also stated it is committed to improving its products and avoiding future recall issues by sourcing higher quality raw ingredients and expanding testing."
