Solbar Appoints Fred Kosanke to Lead the North American Team

ASHDOD, ISRAELSolbar Industries Ltd. announces the expansion of its marketing team in North America, with the addition of Fred Kosanke and Paul Hargarten. The latter join Omri Kaufmann, regional marketing & sales manager and Darcy Maslow, customer service manager.

Kosanke, appointed to lead the team as sales and market development executive, brings to Solbar 25 years of successful sales and business development experience of food ingredients and packaging; including having developed national business with the leading food processors, restaurant chains and distributors, says Gary Brenner, marketing & sales, vice president, Solbar. During 2006, Solbar focused on critical issues such as sourcing soybeans in the U.S. for improved protein functionalities, white color and bland flavor. Special attention is being given to U.S. customer requirements from packaging to an efficient supply chain.

Hargarten, market development, applications manager, will focus on improving Solbars value proposition to customers. Paul and I are delighted to join Solbar, reports Kosanke, and look forward to the challenges presented to us by Solbars management. We realize what it takes to become a recognized supplier in North America. Together with Omri and Darcy, we look forward to achieving sales goals by earning our business with customers.
