CHICAGOPureCircle received a GRAS no objection letter from FDA for use of SG95, stevia blend that contains rebaudioside D and rebaudioside F in food and beverages, according to an article on FoodBev.com. The  blend contains seven previously approved steviol glycosides, as well as two new steviol glycosides, rebaudioside D and rebaudioside F, both of which are receiving Gras no objection for the first time.

FoodBev.com reported PureCircle will market the new ingredient in the United States, and said it has the potential to launch in global markets.
