NEW YORKTwo new branded ingredients from Synutra Ingredients will target the crowded joint health market, in which products commonly feature commoditized chondroitin materials. According to Synutra, Chondro Gold and Chondro Cal are low or ultra-low in heavy metals and are free from adulterantsall SYnutra chondroitin are gauranteed free from alginic acid, the most common chondroitin adulterant.

Chondro Gold customers can choose between several source  materials, including porcine, bovine, avian and combinations of these sources. There are also several grade levels of chondroitin assay content to choose from, depending on formulation needs. The ingredient complies with USP dietary supplement compendium's standards on chondroitin sulfate sodium.

The low-sodium form of chondroitin calcium in Chondro Cal is extracted and produced from various source materials using a proprietary process, providing the benefits of chondroitin without the concerns over long-term sodium intake. Synutra further noted the moderate levels of specialized calcium content in Chondro Cal offer complementary bone health benefits.
