Tap The Cap Introduces Turnkey Technology
September 17, 2013
LAS VEGASTap The Cap, a new innovative and convenient chamber cap, has patented a turnkey technology that allows consumers to place the pre-filled cap on their name-brand bottled water.
Brands interested in Tap The Cap have an opportunity to reinvent their products since the cap stays on the bottle as consumers drinkreplacing the need for throwaway packets, tubes and sachets. The cap was created to display product logos or company graphics and can be molded into shapes and characters for memorable co-licensing opportunities.
Tap The Cap fits onto almost any .26 mm through .32 mm water bottle worldwide, and can house a variety of powders, granules, concentrates and teas up to 10 grams.
Tap The Cap is eco-conscious and made from food-grade recyclable materials that are Food and Drug Administration (FDA) and National Security Association (NSA) approved. The clear chamber contains the contents that are separated from the water, and the cap, which fits onto any bottle, is "tapped" down. Then the contents are dispensed into the water where consumers shake the contents in the bottle and drink from the sports-spout.
"Tap The Cap offers unparalleled marketing power because it isnt immediately thrown in the trash like a liquid vitamin tube or powder packet," said Chris Simonian, CEO. "It stays on the bottle during usage and is extremely visible to other consumers and an extremely impactful way to build a new brand or promote an existing one."
Tap The Cap won the Gold Medal in specialized technology at the Inventions and New Products Exposition (INPEX) 2011 Jury Awards, and was awarded Best Closure for Functional Drinks at the 2012 FoodBev Awards. The product was also a finalist for Best Packaging for Functional Drinks for the 2012 FoodBev Awards.
