WAYNE, N.J. Triarco Industries received an exemption number from Health Canada for its patented Aminogen. With the exemption, the enzyme matrix can now be sold in Canada. Products must undergo an initial assessment and meet criteria regarding safety, quality and efficacy. Aminogen will now await approval to become a licensed product under Canadas Natural Health Products Regulations.

Triarco's Aminogen is a self-affirmed GRAS amino acid enzyme matrix, commonly added to protein. A recent study in Food Digestion journal confirmed Triarco Industries' Aminogen enzyme did not negatively affect cardiovascular, metabolic or renal-hepatic safety when added to whey protein.

This month, the Natural Products Association (NPA)  awarded Triarco Industries good manufacturing practices (GMP) certification for dietary supplement ingredients.
