TricorBraun ~ Scoop Neck System

ST. LOUISTricorBraun launched its Scoop Neck System, a scoop that's designed to prevent scoops from disappearing into powdered products. The scoop features a neck that prevents it from sinking, holding the scoop in place. It doesn't require additional plastic nor does it interfere with the use of existing sealing materials. The scoop also features wide handles where a product name can be imprinted.

A moisture-absorbing scoop may be made with DryKeep, a desiccant that absorbs up to three times more moisture than other desiccants. In the case of consumer products, Scoop Neck desiccant scoops will remain with the product, so they will not be mistakenly poured into a drink or blender.

The desiccant scoops are made with pharmaceutical grade polypropylene and are traditionally off-white, although they can be manufactured in an array of colors. The DryKeep scoops are generally recognized as safe (GRAS) by FDA and Code of Regulations 21 compliant. They meet pharmaceutical purity of standards for the United States and Japan.
