WASHINGTONThe USDA is hiring a new National Organic Program director to succeed acting director Barbara Robinson.
The USDA wants, bright, energetic and committed professionals to facilitate the domestic and international marketing of U.S. agricultural products and to protect the health and care of animals and plants in the United States to apply for the position, which is open until the end of June,
Kathleen Merrigan, deputy secretary for the USDA, outlined plans for integrating organic into all USDA programs earlier this month.
