VIRGO, CRN Renew Webinar Partnership

PHOENIXVIRGO and the Council for Responsible Nutrition (CRN) announced a continuation of their education webinar partnership, offering a minimum of two new webinars in 2011. The first webinar will take place on Sept. 14, 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. EDT, with the topic to be announced in June. The second webinar will take place on Nov. 8. Additionally, a provisional date has been reserved for a potential third webinar on Dec. 14.  This marks the fifth year that CRN and VIRGO have partnered to produce webinars on topics of interest to the dietary supplement industry.

CRNs science department and VIRGOs marketing team have proven year after year to be a remarkably strong pairing, providing our industry with an opportunity to hear from key regulators and topic experts on a number of priority issues.

This educational partnership between CRN and VIRGO began in 2007, and previous webinars have focused on GMPs (good manufacturing practices), supply chain integrity, adverse event reporting and, most recently, the 2010 Food Safety Modernization Act. Speaker panels are made up of leading industry experts, often including representatives from government regulatory agencies such as FDA and FTC.

The registration fee$149 per webinar for CRN members and $199 per webinar for non-membersis a per registration site fee, meaning multiple people may participate in the webinar from a single site, such as a companys conference room. The fee also includes unlimited on-demand access to the webinar for 90 days following the conclusion of the webinar. A $25 discount is offered to participants who purchase multiple webinars in one year.
