WASHINGTONWhole Foods Market is recalling cold smoked and sliced Whole Catch Wild Alaskan Sockeye Salmon sold at stores in 12 states because it may contain Listeria monocytogenes, the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) announced Jan. 25.
The recall involves 4-ounce vacuum-sealed packages of cold smoked and sliced Whole Catch Wild Alaskan Sockeye Salmon with lot code 7425A2298B and UPC code 0 99482 40880 0 sold at retail stores in Colorado, Connecticut, Florida, Idaho, Kansas, Maine, Massachusetts, New Jersey, New Mexico, New York, Rhode Island and Utah.
