The documentary aims to showcase probiotics in a different light by giving viewers an inside look of how probiotics can affect the human body and  research highlighting the health benefits of these microorganisms.

"The film will be an adventure, a journey, a learning experience," Reid said. "It will be a drama that teases and questions each of us to look within at how we treat a part of us that has too long been ignoredour bacteria with whom so much depends."

Main sponsors for the film are ISAPP, an international nonprofit organization working with probiotic and prebiotic products, and GoodBelly, a dairy-free and soy-free probiotic juice drink for digestive health.
