CANTON, Mass.Alliance Scale Inc. introduced an analytical balance that is easy-to-operate and well-suited for a variety of laboratory, industrial and educational weighing applications. The Alliance/OHAUS® Pioneer Series Analytical Balance provides 1.0 mg repeatability and has selectable environmental settings to compensate for vibrations and other disturbances and adjust for slow filling applications. For high sensitivity applications requiring 0.1 mg readability, it has a new draftshield with removable doors and panels for easy cleaning.

Featuring simple, menu-driven operation, the Alliance/OHAUS Pioneer Series Analytical Balance performs basic and dynamic (animal) weighing, parts counting, percent weighing, and includes 15 international weighing units. Standard features include a level indicator, an RS232 port, and a combination software and mechanical switch that locks menus including calibration.

The Alliance/OHAUS Pioneer Series Analytical Balance is offered in capacities ranging from 65 to 4100 g.
