VIBY J, DenmarkArla Foods Ingredients will debut a toolbox" of natural improvement solutions designed specifically for the industrial bakery sector Oct. 6-9, 2013, at the International Baking Industry Exposition 2013 (IBIE) in Las Vegas.

Nutrilac® Natural Improvers are made from functional proteins derived exclusively from milk, and provide industrial bakers with smoother and more-efficient processes, promising easier handling of dough, batters and fillings. They also provide stability, with the ability to lock air into whipped batters and water into kneaded dough, resulting in optimum freshness, texture and resilience throughout a products shelf life. The products also help baked goods maintain sensory properties for longer, cutting down on waste and increasing profit margins.

According to the company, the three new improvers will help bakers maintain cleaner labels by avoiding the less consumer-friendly improvers on the market. Nutrilac Natural Improvers also offer manufacturers a multi-functional alternative to other improvers, which are usually limited in their scope to a single benefit or function.

The new Nutrilac® Natural Improvers toolbox includes Nutrilac® IM-5566, Nutrilac® IM-7042 and Nutrilac® IM-8027, each offering specific benefits.
