NEW BERLIN, Wis.Denali Ingredients developed a new line of flake and chunk inclusions traditionally used in chocolate chip ice cream and other decadent snacks. The proprietary line, available in chocolate varieties only, allows for new levels of customization, including a variety of thicknesses and sizes.

The line of flake and chunk inclusions is the fourth ingredient innovation for Denali Ingredients in as many years. The company introduced a line of dairy stabilizers in 2009; it invested more than $3.5 million in 2010 to build a proprietary line of extruded products that includes brownie bits, cookie dough pieces, cheesecake pieces and other decadent offerings; and this past spring it introduced a line of frozen Greek yogurt bases.
