FOSS NIR Systems Inc. ~ The FOSS XDS NIR Analyzers

LAUREL, M.D.FOSS NIR Systems Inc. introduced near-infrared (NIR) analyzers for rapid, non-destructive measurement of chemical and nutraceutical raw materials and formulations. The FOSS XDS NIR analyzers can reduce quarantine and product hold time, and replace routine pharmacopoeial tests. The analyzers can be placed on a worktable or moveable cart for sensitive identity and quality tests of liquid or solid excipients and APIs. XDS NIR analyzers are manufactured to ISO 9000 standards.

The FOSS XDS SmartProbe Analyzer allows for analysis of raw materials directly in the original shipping container, as the sample probe can be placed directly in the sample or measured through polyethylene packaging materials. The XDS SmartProbe Analyzer features XDS NIR technology and quick disconnect probes for optimized measurement of solids and liquids.

In addition, the ProFoss is now available with Vision® software for various process applications; the ProFoss process analysis system is based on high-resolution diode array technology, providing non-destructive analysis of products directly in the process line without bypass.
