WARMINSTER, Penn.L.B. Bohle introduced its LM 40 Laboratory Blender for operators blending nutraceutical products. The LM 40 employs advanced NIR technology in order to generate highly reproducible, accurate online results. It integrates an NIR spectrometer into the lid of the blending bin and operates with specifically adapted evaluation software (21CFRpart11 compliant). The spectrometer and the measuring head are combined in a compact, GMP-designed housing. The spectral range covers the area from 1,000 to 2,200 nm.

Operators will find the LM 40 modular, compact and easy to operate. It is designed as a mobile unit. The blender itself is integrated into a frame with locking castors. An interlocked Plexiglas cover protects the blending containers during rotation to ensure full safety during hazardous conditions. The blender has a drive unit with a bevel gear motor and potentiometer control to adjust the rotational speed.
