FAIRFIELD, N.J.—LycoRed (www.lycored.com) expanded its Lyc- O-Mato® line of food and beverage fortification ingredients with Lyc- O-Mato Red, a non-GMO lycopene fortification option for liquid and paste applications. Lyc-O-Mato Red is low in sugar, has minimal effect upon the taste of a finished product, delivers three times more lycopene than ordinary tomato paste, and can be used to fortify a wide variety of foods and beverages including breads, confectionary, cereals, soy-based meat substitutes and smoothies.
