BENSENVILLE, Ill.Paul O Abbe introduced its Rota-Cone Vacuum Dryer, ideal for utilization throughout the cosmetics and pharmaceutical industries for drying delicate and high-value solids. The slow tumbling action of the double-cone is safe for friable solids and will not generate fines. Low heat combined with vacuum can dry the most heat sensitive products. The clean internal design provides complete product discharge and easy cleanout. Working capacities range from 0.1 ft³ to 400 ft³. Complete systems are available including vacuum pump, vapor condensers and solvent recovery, heating packages, solids samplers, lump breakers, liquid addition, automatic loading and unloading and placebo exercise controls (PLCs).
